First Date - July 12, 2020
After meeting online, Billy & Christine met for a game of mini golf at Mason’s Bowling Alley. After 18 holes, Christine emerged the winner of the game but because she was moving into a new home that week and did not feel the date went all that well, she threw out the scorecard and has no proof of one of the very few victories she has against Billy.
Proposal - November 5, 2023
One of Christine’s favorite places growing up is Old Sturbridge Village, a local museum which mimics a rural New England town in the early 19th century. Billy’s brother Jamie and Christine’s sister Sarah helped orchestrate a visit to the village, Christine none the wiser. Much to Jamie’s dismay, Christine kept trying to invite more people to come on the trip and Billy had to tell her friends the plan to keep the proposal a secret. He also told basically everyone else he knew and Christine was none the wiser and everyone kept the secret.
After a short walk to the covered bridge, Bill got down on one knee. After saying yes, they met with both their parents & siblings who were waiting in the center of the village to celebrate. They ended the day with a walk around the village.
Wedding - July 12, 2025
Christine and Bill are looking forward to hosting their friends & family at Samuel Slaters for their wedding July 12, 2025; the five year anniversary of their first date. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be on the beach. Dress code is cocktail attire, stilettos are discouraged as they may pose a risk of falling on the beach. Ceremony will begin at 6:30PM, with cocktail hour and dinner to follow inside the restaurant. Please note this will be an adults only celebration. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
